What Pole Dancing did for me & what it could do for you!
If I told you you were about to step into a chapter of your life where you level up and become a more complete, confident version of yourself… you’d probably be excited, right? What usually stands between where you are and where you want to be is fear, procrastination, or both.
For so many of us — myself, my friends, and my students — the decision to start pole dancing comes from a mix of curiosity and some kind of pain. People often arrive in their first class because something in their life feels heavy: a breakup, burnout, depression, you know the deal. There was a point in my life where pole kept me together. It got me out of the house, it gave me something to strive for, it made me see what was possible. This place of not loving where I am in life isn’t permanent.
Through pole, I rebuilt myself — physically, emotionally, and creatively. As I saw my body change and get stronger I became more confident. And this is a cycle that has continued for 10 years now, you wouldn’t recognize me. I truly came into my own by coming out of my shell.
I’ve also had the privilege of witnessing this in countless students over the years. I am completely blown away by the transformations I see both internally and externally. It’s phenomenal truly.
If you know, you know. If you’re still unsure, I made a quick video sharing 5 biggest benefits of starting pole dancing. Maybe it’ll give you the courage to try that first class. :)
